Hey what's up guys?
Yesp I have some news that might give this place some much-needed kick.

Listen up I've been to a place not much people get to see or visit.
honestly, I had the privilege for no other reason than my last name and my family.

Samsung, Philips, Siemens, Sony and the big siblings (Microsoft, Google, Facebook obviously and the kids) are looking into this, and it's gonna be huge.

Much UNLIKE US (!), the guys at apple and sony don't like to keep 40 gig copies of films. Much (un)like us, they are looking into HEVC, .265 encoding, and all that stuff. To be honest, it's an ongoing process but not much has resulted so far.

They've been looking to the other option. For many years now, and the math is done!
And here it is: end - to end- upscaling!!!

You might not be impressed until you'll see what I mean:

a 640x480 film (like we have many of those) can be upscaled to 1080p HD at hardly no cost!
And I've seen it. boy oh boy it looks good! Better than anything. If this is true guys,
we get to keep our 700 mb 640x480 slow quality copies and downloads, while getting a better TV (not kidding) to get a
1080p rendering.

This is gonna be huge because I believe my eyes.

Listen up ppl. Our file sharing concept (over e-mule, I'm not even mentioning usenet and uloz.to alternatives) has been possibly drained out over time but it is not dead, right? Let's keep it and cherish it some while longer! Let's share that 720p old copy, and wait, until you see it with your own eyes in 4k upscaling!
Excellent.

So that's it, I wanted to've m3entioned after my visit to Philips.
In short: keep sharing! And let's keep this website alive!

greetings,
