For becoming a source, you need to have THE same file. Each files on emule (and on the net too) have an CRC. It's their ID given by the files himself (but I don't know how it's work ). If you import the file on Virtual Dub for cutting 1 minute, even 1 second, the ID change...
If you make rip from your DVD, you obtain another rip, another file with different ID.
Do you understand what I mean?
