This looks outstanding. I just hope Doyle doesn't suddenly clutch his chest and an alien burst out. LOL.

I remember reading the 'graphic novel' [glorified comic book] before I saw the movie and thinking "HOW are they going to pull THAT scene off on film?" (This was back in 1979 when realistically graphic 'special effects' were just coming into vogue...)
It worked for me then, and is STILL a tense scene..
I love the relationship that forms between Doyle and Lou.. ...
Headed out to get the DVD later today.... (Hopefully there's some deleted scenes and other special features..)
kev.

I read they didn't tell Veronica Cartwright what was going to happen so her reaction was 100% real. She was also 100% pissed that they scared her so bad. It's still one of my favorite movies of all time. #2 was even better - rare for a sequel - but #3 and #4 were awful.kev wrote:It worked for me then, and is STILL a tense scene..

Re: [REL] Lou (2010)
in the scene where they first find the unhatched egg on the planet, you can see something moving inside, this was actually Ridley scott kneeling down out of shot with his hands stuck up inside the egg ,shuffling his fingers .
