With the request of a baikal/TorstenGem film I think it's a good idea to introduce a new rule to the forum. Since an independant film studio can produce almost anything if it doesn't have to go before a legitimate classification/review board, now film information posted should concern only those recognised by one. Even rarer films generally have gone before some sort of film classification group.

Any thoughts on this subject are welcome, if you are unsure if a film has been classified by the appropriate review board then please feel free to PM any admin here.

This rule (the original post) is more than three years old, so there's no change from how things have been.

The rule has evolved a little as applied by admins, in practice almost anything that isn't just porn and has been shown in theaters or on TV or at film festivals is fine.

But if the only place it's ever been for sale is a Russian website, clearly no. The rule was instituted to prevent films from sites such as those in the title which are just flimsy excuses to show kids without clothes. Most naturist films also fall into this category.

I was always surprised how, umm, 'loose' things were back then. The definition of On-Topic was pretty narrow and people weren't a bit shy about it. Woe to the miscreant who posted something that didn't meet the requirements. A lot of good films had to wait until much later to be posted so people could enjoy them.
