15 years? Did I come late to the party
At that age in certain countries they make a big party for the girls that meet that age. It's ritual. FLM also deserves a party of XV

At first I thought it was 13 the oldest publications dating back to 2006 even when I read the story of Rich I thought this forum was born at the end of the 90's

I would like to see the title above '15 YEARS '(next to the animated doll) it really deserves something like' since 2004

How did you even find your way back here after all that's happened??

Well, I'm glad to see that you're well and as articulate as ever after all these years! :)
Hey kev, good to see you are still here :heart I hope you are well ! hmm the articulation comes and goes
kev wrote:mimzy did a great job reviving and keeping the heart of FLM alive after things went down, and we've all tried to keep the spirit of your creation going despite the sensitive nature of some of the films the site has to offer...
Yes, thanks to everyone involved, I was quite suprised to see the site still active, but it made me very happy :heart
kev wrote:I met you at GirlChat [still alive, also.. :) ] and our mutual interest in movies prompted you to invite me to visit FLM. I'm forever in your debt for that, as this is basically the ONLY site [of it's kind] I've retained my membership with. Somehow I was invited to join the admin team, but my limited compu-knowledge has probably made me the least helpful of the crew.

Happy that it has provided you with enjoyment in this difficult world. Don't worry I have the same issue with technology, at present my computer is in a perpetual loop of trying to install the latest Win 10 update, restarting, failing, trying to install, restarting, failing etc... :wall damn Windows 10 !

kev wrote:I'm so glad you found your way back home, and I hope your 'visit' will become an 'extended stay' and even become permanent... Stay safe!!

kev.

We will see, movies aren't really my focus anymore, but if they have the right story then I'm certainly still interested ;)

Hi Warg, sorry I do not recognise these movies, I too have a few in my head that I have never managed to trace, even when I was exposed to 1000's, it's kind of like an itch you can't scratch, good luck with the hunting!

Well, we all have to start somewhere ;) Besides, some of the best people I have met were at parties that I was not invited to, I usually turned up half drunk and just got invited in

Windows issues moved to separate thread.
Phuzzy4242 wrote:Those safeguards are mainly requiring new users' posts to be approved before anyone sees them. Ghost and I just delete the spam posts and the user names that created them. We kill a lot of them while the spammer is still online. Easy peasy, it's just a PITA. It's all coming from the same source and automated - we'll probably get spam from them forever.
There might be better solutions, but I've had no time for development lately. If it is really the same source, we might block the IP range, but I doubt this is the case.

LOL, it was just some bots/crawlers. Actually from mid-November until mid-December the network traffic was about 10 times higher than usual. I wonder if anybody noticed that the site was less responsive.
Rich_Visiting wrote:I would be interested to know how the forum has developed over the years I was not around, any interesting stories?
Well, I joined FLM in 2009, mostly trolling under different nicknames  My interest in the topic started in Usenet in 1990s, where caps from many interesting movies were posted. Full rips were not posted at the time, so I went through the lists of CIC and CVMC, trying to buy as many movies as I could. I ordered DVDs and VHS cassettes from rather exotic places like Russia and Brazil.

Anyway, when I joined FLM, there was a big problem with the forum search, which was almost unusable, so I made a full site rip to be able to find things. Later I implemented a public search engine on top of that.

In 2011 there were difficult times when the forum went down and main admins were not available. Fortunately FLL, who was the main moderator at the time, set up a Twitter account that enabled the FLM users to keep in touch, but all the data was lost, because FLL had no permission to backup the database. I used the site rip that I made earlier to bring the forum online at a different domain. Also the "like" system and few other FLM extensions were implemented.

Since then, FLM has been working relatively stable with few outages due to technical reasons.

They all say they're from Poland, use Polish emails, use the same "personal information", and the subject lines don't make any logical sense - they're bots.

Long before joining FLM I refused to this type of forums because I did not want my mail to be filled with spam, well out there between 2012 and 2014 I remember I wrote in google 'first love movie' and it appeared the page was off-hook or they had closed it Phuzzy I assure you once it was because of the fact he had a bad reputation and I doubt very much that FLM has a bad reputation
