Seriously?? Sitting and waiting for what? For it to download???

Deadman just posted a damn fine version of this totally strange-ass movie!!

A polite 'Hey thanks, deadman!' is a helluva lot more in order than; "For now we settle for sitting and waiting."

Maybe I'm over-reacting, but geeze Sully, can't you just say 'THANK YOU'??

Btw; MANY THANKS deadman for this 'damn fine version of this totally strange-ass movie'!! :D

(Seriously, this is one odd flick. If that weird balding priest seized up and collapsed one more time, I was going to crawl into the movie [via 'The Purple Rose of Cairo'] and strangle the bastard myself. I was SOO glad at the end when someone said 'to hell with his stupid shiite' and shot him!!! OH: And all that from-the-hip shooting that guy was doing... He was a better shot than Dirty Harry!)

*Whew* Glad I got that off my chest.

Seriously though; Sully??????????? :think

It was just a sarcasm trying to give Quickone an ironic answer but I did not have Deadman's work even had I already seen the movie blurred or original format and let me take the file size 800 mb I thought it was standard, how unfortunate I am or did case to the frames.

Finally, my position of 'sit and wait' is common when there are movies not found anywhere but it seems a 'cold case' is where neither Google nor emulate or another p2p I got tired of not finding Exit 7 or Kodomo not koro senso well they are mysteries I hope someday I hope to find and enjoy and by the way Kev, I am grateful for the members who work and improve especially deadman

Sully, I apologize if I went overboard.

I understand English is not your native tongue, and it seems like you might be using 'Google Translate' so sometimes I have to re-read your posts to get a grasp on what you are trying to say. (Like the one I'm responding to here.)

In the case of your post, it seemed to be a direct response to deadman's release of the upgraded file [which he was kind enough to provide not only an ed2k link, but also direct links] and not so much a sarcastic response to Quickone's post. That's what got me fired up.

I appreciate that you are grateful to the few contributing members that we still have here. I too am VERY grateful. They are pretty much [besides Mimsy and the other admin :) ]all that's keeping FLM alive..

There's a 1.3gb version available here.
https://rarefilmm.com/2021/10/egi-barany-1971/
There's a free download option that's 2-3 hours... but that's a lot faster than the months some people wait on eMule!
Don't know if this is superior quality. This isn't HD so probably just similar source.

The above is widescreen but encoded in anamorphic (compressed horizontally) so un-anamorphed it'd be about 1000x576p. It has burnt in subtitles, bit big, but not too awful.
I see seperate subtitles are here too - am sure they weren't available last time I looked:

My first post here. For those who are interested, a new 4K restoration of Agnus Dei has just been included in a three-film blu-ray box set called Hungarian Masters, released by the British company Second Run: https://www.secondrundvd.com/release_hungarianBD.html

And here it is! The blu-ray release of this film. Apparently an allegorical retelling of the rise of fascism in Hungary - I'll take their word for it. You'll notice a familiar face in 14-year-old Jaroslava Schallerová, one of my personal all-time favorites. Many of the actresses are uncredited though. Those playing minor background roles were mostly local girls, not professional actors, so there's literally no information about them.

My rip features the original Hungarian audio and English subtitles from the blu-ray, a big step up from what was previously available. Enjoy this eye candy filled cinematic oddity!

Like this post to see ed2k links  [7.81 Gb]

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.

Links are interchangeable.
