A colorful and foul-mouthed feature musical comedy. A film about a frizzy-haired, pink-cheeked outcast named Spork who is trying to navigate her way through the annals of junior high. When a school dance show provides a chance for Spork to show up a mean girls gang, her trailer-park neighbor steps up to coach her with some "booty-poppin" moves. Featuring a vintage 90's soundtrack (that includes 2-Live Crew, JJ Fad's "SuperSonic," Dimples T's "Get It Girl"), a score by Casey James and the Stay Puft Kid; and extended school hall dance sequences, Spork is a film about standing out and fitting in.
Did they forget to mention that Spork is a 13 year old hermaphrodite?

But this clip alone is enough to make me wanna see it.
Thanks FAA, I have never heard of this but looks interesting.
I find it depressing that a 90's soundtrack is described as "vintage".
The pic reminds me of Sarah Jessica Parker in the great 80s series "Square Pegs".

Neither of which of course actually has anything to do with Spork, except the series had similar themes, and to hope it will be good as well!

When you hear what were once your favorite rock songs on Muzak, you know you're getting old.

FYI, Usenet has a file Sporkz2010zDvDRipzXviDzALLiAN (I replaced . and - in the name with z to make to it less googleable). That's not the first recent movie I've found tagged as that group which is actually a passworded file, with a note to go to a website to get the password. It wants you to do a survey or something but I am unwilling to turn on javascript to find out for sure, and there are a couple of comments that's it's a scam anyways and you never get the pw. So beware of Usenet files of new films which aren't anywhere else at all.
