Thanks lb! I never got my own encode of this to be good enough quality that I felt like releasing it. I wasted the money I spent on the original source, such is the risk of buying bootlegs on the net! Moved to REL.

This seems odd to me... a VHS that's not 4:3? Makes me wonder if it's not really a TVRip. I look forward to seeing this.

Well spotted FLL........I was so wowed by the video quality I failed to notice the aspect ratio/resolution. I've just checked the file again.......no nasty crop/black bars/aspect ratio problems so you may well be right. I can't at present access the release notes for the source but it was certainly quoted as being a VHS rip.
The video stream was so good & beautifully edited I left it entirely alone. The audio stream was less impressive, in fact awful. Correcting the virtually inaudible volume showed up a lot of background noise & hum. I've filtered some of it out but couldn't go further without seriously degrading the stream. It's not great but a helluva lot better.
