[REL] Ikke Naken (2004)
Re: [REL] Ikke Naken (2004)
Thanks BLT.......d/loading nicely & previews well. Looks like it will be a great upgrade!
Now about those subs..........they're English alright but don't appear to make a great deal of sense. I'm tempted to beg emuler to have a go & produce a thing of beauty (& sense) for us.
Price you pay I suppose for having arguably, the best command of the English language around here.

Note that my DVD is a Norwegian release, which does not include any subs at all. Wondering about the message above, which says that Swedish release has English subsloverboy wrote:Now about those subs..........they're English alright but don't appear to make a great deal of sense. Re: [REL] Ikke Naken (2004)
The English subs look like a Google translation or something similar. Sometimes it didn't make alot of sense, but I still got the gist. I believe some concepts just don't translate well unless you're very skilled in both languages, and even then much of it is a reflection of the interpreter (like the supposed 50 different names the Eskimos have for snow http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eskimo_words_for_snow). When it's a computer translation, we don't even get the "human touch" so we just have to take what we can get.

Yes, as the poster wrote:Phuzzy4242 wrote:The English subs look like a Google translation or something similar.
However, I was referring to this message:jkecal wrote:English subtitles (created by computer translation of subs above, corrected, but with minor mistakes).

Yes it will include subtitles in English.

Re: [REL] Ikke Naken (2004)
Thanks for the motivational boost, LB. I'll have a go after I get the movie. At least the subs are there in some form - I'm a little daunted by the prospect of making subs from scratch (case in point - Masoom).

This rip is badly anamorphic.BizarreLoveTriangle wrote: Like this post to see ed2k links [1.39 Gb]
Even 16/9 function doesn't look better.

I use MPC. Media Player Classic. Get it by installing the latest version of kLite Codec Pack.
If the aspect ratio is still incorrect, right click the video window, then on the menu 'video frame' select 'touch window from inside'.
You can also try looking for a similar setting on whichever player you are using.

I wanted to give you the best quality, so this rip is *unscaled*!redcat wrote:This rip is badly anamorphic.

The aspect ratio is written in the avi file, the player is supposed to scale it automatically.
When I open it in my player, it says the following:
If the video is not scaled automatically, maybe you can enter the aspect ratio 2.32:1 manually?Movie-Aspect is 2.32:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.
VO: [xv] 704x432 => 1002x432 Planar YV12

This certainly displays correctly in MPCBizarreLoveTriangle wrote:I wanted to give you the best quality, so this rip is *unscaled*!redcat wrote:This rip is badly anamorphic.
