We usually go by how IMDb lists it. In this case, it's Portugal | Germany | Denmark | USA | France. Which forum should it be moved to?
IMDb wrote:Chile, second half of the 20th century. The poor Esteban marries Clara and they get a daughter, Blanca. Esteban works hard and eventually gets money to buy a hacienda, eventually to become a local patriarch. He becomes very conservative and is feared by his workers. When Blanca grows up, she falls in love with a young revolutionary, Pedro, who urges the workers to fight for socialism. It is unavoidable that Pedro and Esteban are pitted against each other. Esteban tries to stop the love affair between Pedro and his daughter by all means possible but soon Blanca becomes pregnant and has a daughter. The void between father and daughter seems unbridgeable when Blanca moves in with Pedro.

If Germany is country of the first release, the homeland of the production company and it's laws are applied to the movie as the credits say I think there is a good case for this country.
In Portugal is the company of the co-producer situated. Denmark is only the land of filming. A relation to France or the USA I cannot see at all ...

I'm moving it to RELEASES > Germany, at least until/unless someone wants to make a case otherwise. I didn't put it in the other forum in the first place - that happened before I ever joined. ;)

As far as a USA connection, Meryl Streep, Jeremy Irons, Winona Ryder, Glenn Close, Antonio Banderas, and Maria Conchita Alonso are film stars in America, so it's understandable.
