The Box: Emma's Journey (2013)

Looks like this is another 'Family' production. It was written and directed by Mike Manero starring his daughter Lainie Corryn Manero.

She's a cutie, but it seems the family only put out a couple of shorts and then tried a TV series which didn't seem to catch on. Unfortunately their last activity was back in 2014. Too bad, because if I haven't said it yet; she was a cutie! :P

Streaming Links: (1 YouTube and 2 Vimeo; don't know if there's any quality differences..)

Actually, I should have watched this first before posting.

The other film I posted, 'Have You Seen Charlie?' [ https://www.first-loves.com/forums/v ... 105#p83105 ] Is a much better overall production.

This one is heartfelt, but the acting is abysmal (really bad); obviously all non-actors, yet it feels like everyone gave the best they could. They WANTED to make a really sweet film, but.. :?

I'm glad I've seen it and added it to my collection, but it's not a favorite. Still, little Lainie Corryn Manero IS cute and that got me through to the end.. :heart
