It doesn't seem to exist in better quality than the one we already have. Not sure that Isild has the time or the will to work about providing a HD version.

This film was shown at this year's Sydney Film Festival as 'Half-Price'. I'm afraid I can't give a complete and proper review because I walked out on it after watching just over half of it. And I wasn't alone, as I noticed twenty or so other people leaving at the same time. I swear I heard the phrases "rats leaving a sinking ship" and "women and children first" in the foyer as people left.

In the time since you posted this there have been 5 more reviews: two gave it a 7, one nine, and two tens. It was also a critical succes, and a VERY similar Japanese movie "Nobody knows (2004)" (Do I hear cries on "theft!" ....? ") won best actor in Cannes.
So much for the ONE repressed Aussie walking out, he probably never saw a Rolf De Heer movie .....
