This site uses https, so it is safe to use anonymous proxies if you are worried about your privacy.

When you connect the first time, you get a warning about self-signed certificate. That's OK.

This is not recommended if you use a proxy.

If you store a security exception, Firefox will display a warning if the site is using a different certificate (e.g., the proxy might be using a forged certificate to eavesdrop the connection).

In Chrome, there is no obvious way to add a security exception. You should proceed as follows:
  • Click on the lock symbol on the address bar -> Certificate Information -> Details -> Export -> Save -> choose a filename with .crt extension.
  • Go to Settings -> Manage certificates -> Authorities -> Import -> select the previously saved file.
  • Select "Trust this certificate for identifying websites."
  • Open https://www.first-loves.com/ -> voila, https is nice green now
If you are worried about unauthorized access to information stored in your computer, you should rather look into http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_box, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BestCrypt, etc.

I just installed new server certificate due to the 'heartbleed' vulnerability that was recently fixed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heartbleed).
